In this class you will bond with your dog while teaching them Sit, Down, Stay, Drop it, loose leash walking, polite greetings, Go-to-Mat and Recall. These basic skills will teach your dog how to confidently and safely navigate the human/dog world. 

• For dogs 5 months and up. Great for older puppies, new rescues, and any dog that needs a refresher in basic manners.

• This 1 hour class meets weekly for 6 weeks.

• Class fee is $150.

*All dogs must have proof of current DA2PP/DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies vaccinations before admittance to first class.

Have you taken our Intro Obedience class before? Maybe you have taken an obedience class elsewhere and are looking to brush off the cobwebs. Join any of our Intro Obedience classes to refresh your dogs training skills!

• Join any 6 week Intro class to gain extra practice at the basics!
• For dogs 5 months and up.

• This 1 hour class meets weekly for 6 weeks.

• Refresher class fee is $50.

*All dogs must have proof of current DA2PP/DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies vaccinations before admittance to first class.

In this class we continue to develop your dog’s obedience skills, working toward the Canine Good Citizen evaluation standards. Skills covered are all at an increased level of distraction in the training room. Stay, wait, leash walking, calmly passing distractions, leave it, recall, polite greetings and settle. Many of these exercises are done off leash in the training room, depending on each dog’s distraction threshold.

• This class is for dogs that have completed Intro to Obedience or another basic obedience class.

• This 1 hour class meets weekly for 6 weeks.
• Class fee is $150

• All dogs must have current Bordetella, DHPP/DA2PP and Rabies vaccinations. Vaccination records required for enrollment.

*Required prerequisite – completed Intro Obedience class or cleared by a trainer of Speak Fido Dog Training.
